Flying vs Flighty

Flying and Flighty are both flight tracker apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. They follow your flights, alert you when something changes, and keep a record of every trip. Here’s how they differ.

Which is better, Flying or Flighty?

It depends on what you want from a flight tracker. If you want turbulence forecasts for your route, security wait times at US airports, and flight alerts on the free plan, Flying is the better choice. Flighty doesn’t forecast turbulence, and its alerts need Flighty Pro.

If you want an Apple Watch app or step-by-step help with connections, Flighty is the better choice.
